Brian Niesz is a sound and recording engineer.

Formerly the Director of Media Production for the legendary online radio station WOXY.COM as well as the on-air audio engineer for the WOXY Lounge Acts series, Brian has mixed over 400 independent rock acts such as Surfer Blood, Freelance Whales, Frightened Rabbit, Ra Ra Riot, Phoenix, The Kills, The Walkmen, The Fiery Furnaces, Pete Yorn, We Are Scientists, and many many others.

Currently, Brian is recording primarily at Afghan Whigs bassist John Curley’s UltraSuede Studio in Cincinnati, OH. His clients have included Heartless Bastards, The Greenhornes, Wussy, The Sundresses, and The Lions Rampant to name a few. He is also occasionally on the road mixing front-of-house for nationally touring independent rock acts.
